Dr. David Atkinson is a board certified family practice physician who has a special interest in diabetes and hypertension.  He chose a career in family medicine, as this field allows him to form ongoing relationships with patients.  His practice philosophy is to treat the whole patient and create an environment where his patients feel comfortable discussing their medical concerns.  Specialty procedures include observation and treatment of skin cancers, minor surgery, and diabetic teaching.

• Medical Degree from the University of South Dakota
• Residency completed at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee

Dr. Atkinson enjoys duck hunting, cowboy-action shooting, woodworking, reading, scuba diving, and spending time with his family.
