Amy Jo Schwarzenbart is an advanced practice nurse practitioner who believes the patient is the focus of treatment and planning for optimal outcomes and functioning in the family or community.  Psychiatric and mental health issues are identified for treatment and a plan of action is formulated with the patient.  The patient will adapt to or recover from a given psychiatric/mental health issue.  Focus is based on what the patient can do and may need to do to overcome the difficulties facing him or her.
